On the brighter side, at least it ended better than my last day with my first car.

(Please excuse the color streaks - it was hard to develop 35mm film with stone knives and bearskins.)

I've only had my car for 2 years, but it's too automatic for me. As much as I love it, being my first car, I need to live the manual life.

It was painful to let her go, it especially didn't help that I parked her right where my mom and I picked her up and drove her for the first time. :(

My first car ended up similar. Cop waved me through an intersection without traffic lights so I didn't stop or slow down enough. An F150 going the other direction also thought that the cop waved him through. He turned left right in front of me.

RIP 1992 Ford Tempo.

I will always remember the fact that you had spinners, and our drive across 2/3rds of Canada.

Wow...you just made me realize how much I'm going to miss my SN197 when I have to trade it in. If the neighbors wouldn't call the nut house to come get me if I did, I'd walk outside and give mine a hug right now.

But, look at the bright side-that is one sweet white GT. My grandfather told me many times about the sorrow he experienced when he traded his white-on-red 62 Impala hardtop coupe in on a then brand new silver and black 69 Camaro. He still has the Camaro today and it's a family heirloom. I seriously doubt if the Impala would still be around even if he'd tried to keep it. Sometimes the hardest decisions are the right ones.
